Add Domain Information

1. Go to your sub-account and open Settings then Email Services (or SMTP Service).

2. Click on Dedicated Domain and IP, then select + Add Domain.

3. Enter a subdomain (such as mail.yourdomain.com). Note: Use a subdomain instead of your root domain if your main domain already handles external emails via Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 to avoid breaking your mail.

4. Click Add & Verify to display the generated DNS records.

5. Open your domain registrar or DNS host (like GoDaddy, Cloudflare, or Namecheap) in a separate tab. (If your domain host is in your account it's already there)

6. Copy and paste the 2 TXT records (SPF and DKIM), 2 MX records, and 1 CNAME record provided by GHL.

Save the changes in your DNS host dashboard. (DNS propagation can take anywhere from 5 minutes up to 24 hours).

Verify and Set Headers

7. Return to your GHL tab and click Verify Domain.

8. Look for the green success status once validation completes.

9. Click the three dots next to your verified domain to Set Headers (From Name and From Email Address) to finalize your sender identity.
